Aug 7, 2018 – For the first time in ISDS history, Team India reached the Finals of the World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC) 2018, winning the Silver.
Team India debaters – Saranya Ravindran, Tejas Subramaniam and Hemanth Chakravarthy from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan (PSBB) School, Chennai, Manya Gupta from Neerja Modi School, Jaipur, and Dhananjay Ashok from The International School, Bangalore – were felicitated for this incredible achievement in Chennai by the Indian Schools Debating Society (ISDS) and the Ramco Group.
Pradeep Yadav, Principal Secretary for School Education in Tamil Nadu, presided over the event that took place in Chennai on August 1st.
