Debating as an activity changed the way I saw the world around me. I learned how to ask the right questions (be it in politics or in personal life) in a way that has helped me truly understand my surroundings. Debating as a practice, however, taught me how to work hard. It took me in as a lazy 16-year-old and transformed me into a person who can set his own goals and put hours of effort into achieving them.
